When asked upon about her take on the struggles and drama revolving her film, Deepee said, " Eventually it felt okay, but some of us did feel let down at some point. A lot more could've happened,...the victory of the film was important at the end."
To this, Karan asked her if the industry and the fraternity was supportive. To this, the actress replied," It's strange because we got a lot of support personally. They(industry) didn't have the courage to do it on a public platform, but I understand that dilemma. Becuse if you say something, it's an issue; if you don't say something, that's an issue."
"And when we do say something, it's not always taken in the right spirit. But a lot of people reached out," she further elaborated with a smile.
To this Karan quoted, "All is well that ends well!"
