Music composer Anu Malik has been accused in several #MeToo stories, following which he was removed from the judge's panel of singing reality show, Indian Idol 10. And the first guests to join the show post Anu Malik’s exit are music director Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. The duo has given many hit songs including Kurbaan Hua, Mar Jawaan, Tu Hai and Jigar Da Tukda.
A lot of reports suggests that Salim and Sulaiman are replacing Anu Malik on the judges' panel; however, we have learned that the duo is not joining the show as judges but are just the ‘celebrity guests’ for this coming weekend. Till date, the channel has not roped in any singer in the place of Anu Malik.
Take a look at Salim Merchant's post below:

While talking exclusively to PeepingMoon.com, Salim Merchant said, “It’s a great feeling to be on the sets of Indian Idol after almost two years. The show is filled with so many talents; in fact, few of them including Bhumi Trivedi and Vipul Mehta are performing with us. Both Sulaiman and I feel proud to be associated with Indian Idol. I just hope people enjoy this special episode.”
Anu Malik had been a part of this talent hunt contest right from its first season in 2005. He was recently ousted by singers Shweta Pandit and Sona Mohapatra, following which two more survivors opened up on their horrific experiences with the Bollywood composer.
Singer Alisha Chinai, who recorded several hit songs with Malik during the 1990s also claimed that every word said and written about Anu Malik is true.
