Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee With Karan Season 6 has managed to acquire everyone's attention ever since it premiered on October 21 with Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt as its first guests. Now after roping in some interesting jodis to share the sizzling couch, we hear that Karan has pulled off another casting coup by bringing together Shahid Kapoor and his brother Ishaan Khatter on his show.
It is rather interesting to note that Shahid and Ishaan are yet to share space on the silver screen and Koffee With Karan will perhaps be the first time that they will be seen together on TV. A source close to the development informed us, "Karan Johar initially planned to get Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan together, but now, they have finalised the two bhais for an episode. It seemed like a better combination since both, Shahid and Ishaan, have never done any shoots or interviews together before."
Shahid and Ishaan are expected to shoot later next month or early December for their episode, which will feature Karan discussing the dynamics that the two brothers share. "Expect a dance-off between them as well," added our source. Although the upcoming episode will mark Ishaan's Koffee debut, Shahid has previously shared the couch with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and wife Mira Rajput.
Coming back to Koffee with Karan season 6, the popular show has received a fabulous response as expected. B-town celebs including Arjun Kapoor-Janhvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh-Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan-Katrina Kaif, Ayushmann Khurrana-Vicky Kaushal, Badshah-Diljit Dosanjh, Saif Ali Khan-Sara Ali Khan and Aamir Khan, have so far shot for their episodes with Karan.
