Karan Johar is back with a bang with the sixth season of his popular celebrity show, Koffee with Karan. While Alia Bhatt appeared on the premiere episode along with Deepika Padukone, the filmmaker's other protégés including Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, have shot for their episodes as well. In fact, out of Karan's students, only Sidharth Malhotra has not yet graced the fabled couch.
Now as per a report in a leading daily, the team of KWK 6 has finally roped in another fresh pairing and Sidharth will share a cuppa with none other than Aditya Roy Kapur. "He (Sidharth) was always supposed to make an appearance, but the makers didn’t know who to team him up with. Now, he will be seen on the show with Aditya Roy Kapur. The two actors, who are buddies, share a warm bond and even work out together. So, there will be a lot of boy talk when they shoot for KWK," the daily quoted a source as saying.
For the uninitiated, Sid and Adi got friendly when they went on the Dream Team, the international concert tour in 2016. In fact, they are often spotted working out and partying together. Apparently, Karan was keen to cash in their off-screen camaraderie and hence suggested their names for the show. "Sid and Adi are currently single. So, KJo will definitely touch upon that topic," the source added.
Well, we cannot wait for the two boys to bond and spill some secrets on the show as well.
