Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif are working together in Remo D’souza’s dance film and before beginning work on it, the actor asked Salman Khan for tips, as revealed by him on the sixth season of Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan. Salman and Katrina co-starred in several films including Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai while Remo’s project is Varun’s first film with the actress.
On Koffee With Karan, Salman appeared in a short clip in which he spoke about the tips that he had dispensed to Varun about working with Katrina.
“Varun, I am glad that you are working with Katrina. And I am glad that you asked me this question that how to work with Katrina. Now, I have done about six-seven films with Katrina. There’s a way that you need to work with Katrina. She has so much experience – script-wise, performance – wise, direction, editing. She knows everything that we need in the film industry to make a film. So, these conversations, do not even get into it even though you are David Dhawan’s son, and you’ve been in the industry for the longest time. You’ll lose these discussions,” Salman said in the video.
“So no conversations on filmmaking. When she starts talking, you nod. And let her talk, and whenever you interrupt, that conversation will go on for another 15-20 minutes. Do not talk about medicines. ‘These are the supplements and proteins I am taking. - Do not say all these things because she is a doctor. You will not be able to compete with that,” Salman added.
