Surbhi Chandna confirms her exit from Ishqbaaz in video message; Promise to be back with a bang, she says

Television actress Surbhi Chandna, best known for playing Annika in Ishqbaaz, confirmed reports of quitting the show in a video message on social media. As she signed off, Surbhi wrote on Twitter that she will “be back with a bang and entertain you all in a new avatar very soon.”

In the video, meanwhile, Surbhi thanked her fans and followers for appreciating her character in Ishqbaaz and also attributed her achievement and accolades to the love of her fans. Although Surbhi didn’t divulge in details for quitting the show, she did add that she is all set to turn over a new leaf. “I am totally ready to embark on a new journey altogether by bidding goodbye to a life-changing and extremely special journey of Ishqbaaz,” Surbhi said in the video.

In a special mention for her fans, Surbhi added, “I’ve had a mad ride playing Annika and I am glad that you’ll enjoy her various shades.”

Reports suggest that Surbhi decided to quit the show since Ishqbaaz will reportedly take a leap of a few years. After Surbhi, her co-star Nakuul Mehta might also follow suit in dropping out of the show as per reports. Sanaya Irani or Drashti Dhami might replace Surbhi in Ishqbaaz and will be cast opposite Nakuul if he continues.
