Koffee with Karan: Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah get embarassed and nostalgic as they talk about their first stage performances

Koffee with Karan is back with a bang! This season is featuring such dynamic pairs together on the couch that we can't help but be glued to our screens every Sunday at primetime. For today's episode, we have the Punjabi munde in the house, Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah.

When asked about their very first stage performances, the duo sheepishly shared the embarrassing details as they took a stroll down the memory lane. Diljit narrated,"I was very young. I had gone to attend a show and the artist had not arrived until then. The people from my village forced me on the stage, saying this is the kid who sings very well. I was so nervous, I started singing but forgot the lyrics soon after...then I sheepishly announced that I forgot the lyrics and got off the stage. But this was my village...had it been some other place, they would've beaten me up. (laughs)"

To this Badshah also spills the tea about his very first performance. He said," I had a habit of rapping lyrics to myself whenever I played basketball. Someone came to me and asked if I'd be willing to perform this in front of a crowd. I agreed but asked him to pay me for the same. The guy instantly agreed on giving me Rs.1500/-. Back then it was a very big amount, and  I was on top of the world. Later, I came to know I had to perform at a gay club for a gay party."

Well, looks like there too many stories waiting to be brewed. Catch the episode tonight on Star World at 9pm.
