Serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Parul Chauhan tied the knot with Chirag Thakkar in a traditional temple wedding on December 12 in the presence of their close friends and family members.
The couple threw a grand wedding reception in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh which is Parul Chauhan's hometown. It was attended by Parul’s close friends and actresses Shilpa Raizada, Tia Gandwani and a few more. On this special occasion, Parul looked every bit regal in a maroon and golden coloured lehenga; while, Chirag looked handsome in a black suit.

Apparently, the couple, who is currently in Uttar Pradesh, will be hosting another reception for her friends from the industry in Mumbai.
Parul and Chirag have been together for three years before taking their relationship to the next level. “Chirag is not my boyfriend, he is my friend. We have not dated in the conventional term. If having coffee together and sharing everything with your best friend amounts to dating, then yes, we dated for three years," the actress said in a statement.

Parul made her TV debut with the hit show Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai in 2007 followed by Rishton Se Badi Pratha Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed and Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. On the other hand, Chirag has been part of shows like Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Amita Ka Amit and a few more.
