Aspiring television actor Rahul Dixit allegedly committed suicide today. The 28-year-old actor killed himself early this morning. A case of accidental death has been registered by Mumbai Police and further investigation is underway.

According to media reports, Rahul had come to Mumbai to pursue acting dreams from Jaipur, Rajasthan. He had come to the city three years back. Rahul took his life by hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence in Oshiwara, Mumbai. The police are making further investigations about the case. Although it seems like suicide, no suicide note was left behind by Rahul.

Apparently, Rahul was partying with his friends last night. This was revealed by his Facebook posts. No one knows what went wrong in one night and prompted Rahul to take his own life or it was a conspiracy as on Monday night his neighbours reported that they had heard noises of a fight from his flat.

Rahul’s father Mahesh Dixit posted an emotional note for his son tagging him in a post. He wrote, “Is duniya ko kyun chhod kar chala gaya Rahul." Mahesh does not believe that his son could have committed suicide. Ahul studied acting at Roshan Taneja School of Acting in Mumbai.
