In the past few days, there has been a lot of buzz about actor Mohit Malik quitting popular TV show, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala. However, in an interview with a leading publication, the actor revealed how such rumours take a toll on actors.
He stated that as actors, they struggle hard to achieve their dreams and that there are times when they get replaced. He also mentioned that his wife Addite and he had bought a house on loan and that due to a lack of work, they had to sell off jewellery.
In addition, he stressed on the importance of having an alternate career. He maintained that there are some people from the industry who work on TV but still look down upon it as a medium.

Reportedly, producer of the show, Gul Khan too denied the news of Mohit quitting or being replaced in the show. She called these reports mere ‘rumours’.

Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala revolves around the story of a young singing prodigy Kullfi, (played by child actress Aakriti Sharma) who encounters several hardships to unite with her father, Sikandar (Mohit Malik). The show has gained immense popularity right from its launch. So far, it has already won several awards.
