Looks like it's a great start to 2019 as Ekta Kapoor became a mother to a baby boy. Her first child was born via surrogacy on January 27. As per a report by a leading newspaper, the baby boy is healthy and will be home soon.
Seems like Ekta has taken some inspiration from her younger brother and actor Tusshar Kapoor. Three years ago, Tusshar became a father to an adorable baby boy whom he named Laksshya Kapoor. The actor's son was also born via surrogacy. Ekta is quite close to Laksshya and it is not an unknown fact that Ekta loves kids.

Several times, Ekta has spoken about not wanting to get married but was open to being a mother after Laksshya was born. The producer had said that she would opt for motherhood after she knew she was ready for it and all the responsibility that comes with it.
