Harshad Arora and Rhea Sharma to play the lead roles in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ spin-off?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set for a spin-off. Apparently, the maker of the show, Rajan Shahi is following the footsteps of other producers – Gul Khan and Ekta Kapoor wherein Gul’s show Dil Bole Oberoi (a spin-off of Ishqbaaz) and Ekta’s Kundali Bhagya (a spin-off of Kumkum Bhagya) worked wonders on the TRP rating chart.

Reportedly, YRKKH will have a spin-off and the fresh pair is said to be Harshad Arora and Rhea Sharma. While Harshad was last seen in fictional series, Mayavi Maling, he was much appreciated for his role in Beintehaa. On the other hand, Rhea Sharma became a household name with serial Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji.

Earlier, there were reports that Harshad Arora, Varun Kapoor, and Ankita Sharma have auditioned for the spin-off. And now, it looks like the makers have finalised the names. However, nothing has been confirmed by Rajan Shahi's team yet.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai started with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as the lead. The show has been running successfully for ten years now and currently stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in the lead.
