Hina Khan who rose to fame with serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and was associated with it for eight long years is happy with the fact that the show is running and doing well post her exit too.
Recently, at one of the conclave organised by a news channel, Hina was present there with other popular actors including Ssharad Malhotra, Nakuul Mehta, Rubina Dilaik, Eisha Singh and Apara Mehta. At the event, the actress opened up about the impact television has on people and the acceptance which she has received from the audiences.

Hina said that she was associated with the longest running show on TV, i.e. YRKKH for eight years, and while she moved on, the show is still running and doing well, which she is extremely proud of. She then added that while she played Akshara for the longest time, many from the industry and otherwise warned her of getting typecast, but she took a conscious decision to take up challenging and different roles to break the mould.
She concluded the conversation by saying that people have now accepted her as Komolika as well. She is happy about it that people are ready to accept the change. And while people are ready for change, the onus lies on them to bring about the change.

On career front, Hina started her career by playing a quintessential bahu in serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Later on, she participated in shows like Bigg Boss 11 and Khatron Ke Khiladi. She is currently playing the iconic role of Komolika in serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She also has a film titled - Lines in her kitty.
