The Me Too movement in India created a storm after Tanushree Dutta opened up about her ordeal on the sets of 2008 film Horn OK Pleasss. Recently, when actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha was asked about the same at a book launch event, he spoke something which disappointed many including Ishqbaaz actor Nakuul Mehta.

On the movement, the veteran actor said, "In the era of MeToo, there is no hesitation in saying that behind every successful man’s fall also, there is a woman.'' He further added, ''I consider myself very lucky that in today's time even after several instances, my name did not pop up in Me Too movement. That's why I always obey my wife or make her my shield when I step out of the house."

His statement irked Nakuul, who took to Twitter to slam the veteran actor by writing, "This did not even need a KWK couch! Absolute bonkers''. With this, he also took a jibe at Koffee With Karan, which is known for controversial statements by celebs.
