If there's one thing we know Karan Johar loves, besides filmmaking and his adorable twins Yash and Roohi - it's matchmaking! In the recent past, Karan has been conspiring to bring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan closer. So, when Kartik made an appearance with Kriti Sanon on Karan's celebrated celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan, he pounced upon the opportunity to talk about Sara.

For those living under a rock, Sara had confessed on the same coveted couch that she'd like to go out with Kartik. Papa Saif Ali Khan added that he (Kartik) can 'take her' but only if he's got money. Cueing onto the same condition, when KJo tried to catch the Pyaar Ka Punchnaama star in a spot by mentioning the Pataudi princess, he replied that he is focusing on earning more money. We bet Daddy Saif would be the happiest reading this!

After his direct and personal approach failed, Karan resorted to the professional route. He quizzed Kartik about the rumours of him doing Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 opposite Sara. Joining in the fun banter was Kriti who said she'd like to pair her Luka Chuppi co-star with Sara since she has a crush on him! Universe, hope you are taking notes.

It is mention worthy that Kartik wasn't the only one getting grilled for his relationship status on the show. With absolutely no uncertainties and hesitance, KJo mentioned that Kriti was dating Sushant Singh Rajput but they have split now for 'whatever' reasons. Yes, she denied it. And yes, Karan called her out for lying, again. Further, in her replies, the Delhi born touched upon topics like nepotism, engineering, acting and career opportunities.

In the Koffee shots segment of the Star World show, Kriti made quite a string of confessions. Interesting and predictable, both. She revealed about crushing on a co-star, having Hrithik Roshan's posters in her room and would like to have Alia Bhatt's body of work. Honestly, she thinks she performs as well as Alia and Deepika Padukone but doesn't get the opportunity to.

Kriti has been through a fair share of heartbreak but Kartik shocked us by saying he has been in a relationship only once. And got dumped. Because he wanted to be an actor. Does that even make sense? Boo boo girl! Moving on, Sara popped up in the picture again for Kartik said he loves her sense of style. Kriti doesn't agree perhaps because she doesn't want to raid her closet. Eventually, Kartik walked away with the hamper.

The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor may have finally called Sara. From the sets of KWK. In front of Karan!!! He dialled the Kedarnath actress in the final round to score a point (bet he did). But KJo isn't the one to come late to the party and went on to question Sara about the status of her coffee confessions! Our Ivy League girl knows better than we thought impressively, she can very well dodge a bullet. Boy, she did it so well.
