Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday, co-stars of upcoming film Student Of The Year 2, are really, really close friends, director Punit Malhotra said as he appeared in a short video during the young actress’ appearance on the sixth season of filmmaker Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan. Ananya and Tara are making their debut in Bollywood with SOTY 2, co-starring Tiger Shroff.
Tiger, Ananya and Tara appeared on KWK 6 while Punit featured in short video during the show and spoke about the stars. What’s interesting is that Punit said that Ananya, once, had also proposed to Tara and she had accepted.

Speaking of Tara’s and Ananya’s friendship, Punit said on KWK 6, “Those who famously got along were the girls. There was a time when they were inseparable. They would eat together, drink together. I went in their room one night and they both were tucked in the same blanket together. They were really, really crazy. One night, both of them were really, really drunk and Ananya did propose to Tara. What's funny is that Tara did accept. So, I do know that both of them were really gelling together.”
