Student of the Year 2 stars Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria were the new set of guests to grace the coveted couch on Karan Johar-hosted Koffee With Karan 6. Welcoming a fresh batch of pupils, Karan looked back upon the first film in the franchise starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. He also reflected upon his mid-life crisis that basically led him to make Student of the Year. However, keeping the norm and tradition intact, KJo hosted his students on KWK, as is the rite of passage.
Tiger and Tara played the shy boy, reserved girl card while Ananya went all out with her bindass revelations. The entire episode was filled with fun n frolic and of course, gossip and conjecture was given a seat too. In the first few minutes of the Sunday episode, Karan established that he is not for the chill but hands on with the grill. He shot a question at Tiger about dating his co-star Disha Patani, who he often lunches with on weekends. The graceful hottie smiled and replied they are ‘just friends’ and keeping at that for now. But he did leave us with more interesting tidbits. In fact, so did Tara and Ananya!

Tiger cannot sleep alone
As surprising as it may come, Tiger has issues sleeping alone in his room. Thus, at home he sleeps with his mother (wait, what? Seriously?) and makes a unit person sleep with him when he is away on shoot schedule. Also, the Baaghi 2 actor needs smaller rooms when staying at a hotel.
Tiger hasn’t been a dancer all his life
We still suspect he’s got bones in his body, blame it on those flawless and super flexible moves! But the handsome hunk revealed he learned dancing for his first film Heropanti. And here we thought he was born with the moves like jagger!
Tiger loves to eat
Before we proceed, is it just us or you too feel that this episode of KWK was a complete shocker when it came to Tiger? Now what, he is foodie, with THOSE abs? Impossible, but true.
Tiger and Disha are ‘just friends’
Yeah, yeah, Rahul and Anjali were best friends too. Kyunki pyaar dosti hai. Tiger admitted that he and Disha are keeping at being friends and share similar interests. Wait until you have an announcement coming your way, maybe?

Tara and Sidharth are a thing?
In the rapid fire round, Tiger was asked what would he like to steal from the following stars and his replies were: Alia Bhatt from Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone from Ranveer Singh, Natasha from Varun and when asked about Sidharth, he slyly turned at Tara. ‘Nuff said boy, we get the hint! For those unaware, Tara and Sid shall be seen together in Milap Zaveri’s next titled Marjaavaan.
Tara has a crush on an ex-student
Well, well, given Tiger’s signals, we think we know who that student is Tara. And the next revelation totally proves the point!
Tara wants to go out for coffee with Sidharth
Already shipping ‘Sitara,’ aren’t we? (Fine, we gotta have a better name!) But when quizzed about a coffee outing, Tara promptly picked her neighbour and co-actor Sidharth. There is no smoke without fire, after all.

Tara is a singer
Not many in the business know that Tara is a talented singer too. Glimpses of her finesse were offered by the gorgeous girl on the show as she crooned Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko…She has sung in international operas, competitions and is a trained ballet dancer too. Moreover, Tara was a video jockey in 2010 with Disney India's Big Bada Boom. She shot to fame with sitcoms The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie. Somebody’s on her way to global domination it seems!
Ananya used swear words for SOTY 2 director Punit Malhotra
Ananya was a revelation in herself on the show! Contrary to her shy persona on social media, the newbie was a dhamaka in every segment. Punit revealed that Ananya used to call him by a cuss word that starts with A throughout. The debutant then revealed that during workshops, the filmmaker would ask her to shout and yell swear words, thus she took to it.
Ananya is self-obsessed
Cue on to Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Ananya is her own favourite it seems. In the rapid fire round, the trio agreed that Ananya is all about herself. We don’t see a reason why though?
Ananya thinks she doesn’t deserve to be on KWK
Karan has been called out several times for his favouritism and owing to her upcoming debut Ananya wasn’t spared any bricks either. People on social media said she doesn’t deserve to be on the show and the young gun seemed in agreement with their sentiment. “I agree with this section because I haven’t done anything. I don’t deserve to be here. There are so many people out there who are talented...I am just lucky that my dad was an actor and this is what I had wanted to do,” she said.
Ananya is the biggest gossipmonger
Tara and Tiger revealed that Ananya is the biggest gossipmonger! She also revealed at the beginning of the show that she and her BFFs Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor have a Whatsapp group called ‘Charlie’s Angels’ where they have discussed KWK episodes. Karan added to Tiger and Tara’s answers saying it could be because of her mother Bhavana Panday’s group of friends which also includes him.
When a drunk Ananya proposed to Tara
Is it just Tiger or do you too feel Ananya and Tara are too good to be true? Punit revealed that once the girls got too drunk, and Ananya proposed to Tara. The shocking part is that Tara even accepted the proposal! What’s cookin’, good lookin’?

Ananya wants to be at Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s date
Recently, there were rumours of sparks flowing between Kartik and Ananya. The SOTY 2 star not only confessed to having a crush on him, she added that he is ‘damn cute.’ But when Karan said that even Sara has a crush on Kartik, Ananya added that she’d like to be on the date that Kartik and Sara go on. We are cringing at the thought because this triangle sounds SUPER WEIRD.
Meet Charlie’s Angels 2.0 – Ananya, Suhana and Shanaya
It’s not just Kareena Kapoor Khan with amusing names for Whatsapp groups! Ananya, daughter of Chunky and Bhavana Panday has been best friends with Suhana (Shah Rukh – Gauri Khan’s daughter) and Shanaya (Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter) since childhood. The three are thick as thieves and apparently love to gossip. They even have a Whatsapp group called ‘Charlie’s Angels.’ Umm, okay then!
Another highlight of the episode was that all three of them got the name of the President of India right: Ram Nath Kovind. We could see why Karan couldn’t be more thankful to Tara and Ananya for getting the quiz right, especially after Alia Bhatt’s fiasco has still not been forgotten!
