Television actress Saumya Tandon's house in Mumbai caught fire on Wednesday night because of a mosquito repellent. The actress woke up in the middle of the night to discover the fire but managed to extinguish it at the right time along with her child's nanny. The actress was injured with minor burns on her palms but is fine.
Saumya, who rose to fame with her appearance in daily soap Bhabi Ji Ghar Pe Hain, tweeted the entire incident saying that it could have been worse. She shared a photo on Twitter along with a caption. In the photo, everything seemed to be destroyed by the fire. She wrote, “Had fire in my house , lessons learnt 1. "It was fire in the plug where mosquito repellent was put in the middle of the night, probably the liquid was over and it overheated. All of us are safe. MA got slight burn on her cheek as it was next to her bed. I and my nanny were trying to put the fire off so got minor burns in the palms. All safe. Thanks," she told an entertainment website.
