Priyanka Chopra’s wedding to American singer Nick Jonas in December was a really, really private affair with a strict no-photos policy. Well, we’re sure you’re aware of that but maybe, you didn’t know much about the fact that Priyanka’s team had to lock guests’ phones in order to bar them from taking photographs.
On Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan 6, Priyanka spoke about it, saying that tennis player Serena Williams had a great idea behind pulling the no-photos policy off.

“Like, literally at my wedding, we had to take people’s phones and deposit them. So, Serena Williams did this amazing thing, which is like a little bag that you have. So you give people the bags, they put their phones inside and you lock it. So, if you ever wanted to use the phone, and you can keep the phone. But if ever want to use it, you have to come back to get it unlocked. We had a mobile police stand. That’s the only way to control it,” Priyanka said on KWK 6.
Priyanka and Nick married at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in the presence of close friends and family – only 200 guests were reportedly invited.
Pictures from their pre-wedding festivities and wedding were shared by Priyanka and Nick only after the ceremonies concluded.
