Hina Khan has confirmed her exit from Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay and if a report in a leading website is anything to go by, Aalisha Panwar, best known for her role in the television serial Ishq Mein Marjawan, will replace her. Makers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay are considering several actors for Hina’s role of Komolika in the show and sources suggest that Aalisha might be zeroed in, a portal has reported as per the website.

"There are several faces which have been approached. Ishq Mein Marjawan fame Aalisha Panwar is one of them and she seems to be an appropriate choice out of the selected ones,” a source was quoted as saying by the portal, as per the website.

No official confirmation has been made on this report so far by the makers or Aalisha herself. Reports also suggest that Anita Hassanandani and Krystle D'Souza are being considered for the role of Komolika as well.

Reports of Hina’s exit from Kasautii Zindagii Kay surfaced recently and she confirmed the news saying that she won’t appear in the show after March due to prior commitments to films. "It's true that I will not be seen on the show post-March. But, the only reason is my prior commitment to films,” Hina had told a portal.

Hina, best known for her role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, will soon make her debut in Bollywood with a film written by Rahat Kazmi and Shakti Singh. Of her debut, Hina had said previously, "It’s a female-centric story. I also love the fact that it’s set in a time and place, where we are away from the hustle and bustle of city life, technology, daily rush and competition. I am also thrilled about challenging myself in a brand new medium.”
