After going through lots of ups and down, Gul Khan’s popular show Ishqbaaz finally bid adieu to its audience. Initially, the show initially starred Nakuul Mehta, Leenesh Mattoo and Kunal Jaisingh as the male leads; however, post its leap, only Nakuul Mehta was retained in the show.
In the first season, Nakuul was paired opposite Surbhi Chandna and their chemistry was much appreciated by the viewers. But since the makers decided to take a leap in the show, Surbhi was asked to play the role of a mother which she denied to it.

The show took a generation leap which led to the replacement of the entire cast from the show except for Nakuul. The makers roped in Manjiri Pupala to play the female lead opposite Nakuul but later on replaced her with Niti Taylor. Unfortunately, in spite of bringing so many changes in the story line, the show failed to garner TRP’s and so the channel decided to pull off the show. This decision was shocking not only for the actors but for the loyal fans too.
Summing up the entire journey, Nakuul Mehta took to Instagram and shared an emotional video for his fans post the end of the show.
