Hina Khan will NOT be replaced as Komolika in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ but there is a twist in the tale

Rumours are ablaze that Komolika aka Hina Khan will be replaced in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Reports suggested that the makers have found Hina’s replacement in Ishq Mein Marjawaan actress Aalisha Panwar. However, there is a twist in the tale. Apparently, Hina will not quit the show but there will be a major change in the ongoing track.

"Ekta is very much confident about Hina Khan and she has never given a thought of replacing her anytime. Yes, Hina was not happy with the way her character was shaping in the show and she had conveyed her concern to the makers. Adding more to it, the actress’ is busy with a film, music video and a web series. So, Ekta came up with an idea of giving her break and planning a comeback with a big twist. The discussion has already been done between the two and Hina will be going on a sabbatical break after the first week of April," a source close to the show told an online portal.

The source further added, "The writers have been informed to come up with 2-3 plots including her death sequence and then comeback, planning her own kidnapping and few more. And the one which she finds convincing, she will go ahead with it. The track of the show will be altered to accommodate her absence."

A few days back, in an interview, Hina told, “In the previous season, there were changes in Komolika’s track and it might happen this season. I have not quit the show but will go on a break to complete my other commitments. As of now, I won’t be seen post-March.”

Earlier in the show, Hina had taken a short break before the track of Anurag and Prerna's love story began and had cited her upcoming film titled Lines to be the reason for her absence.
