Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring the second season of her supernatural show, Kavach ... Kaali Shaktiyon Se. We hear that actress Deepika Singh has been roped in to play the lead role wherein she will be seen playing different avatars in the show.
The first season of the show starring Mona Singh and Vivek Dahiya in the lead roles had a successful run and apparently this time, it will come back with a complete new star cast.
Kavach 2 will replace the most watched Naagin 3. However, the show which was scheduled to go on air from March has been shifted to May due to IPL and also the casting for the same has already begun.

Coming back to Deepika Singh, this supernatural show will be a comeback for her on daily soap. The actress took a break after her show Diya Aur Baati Hum went off air in September 2016. She was last seen in Kitchen Champion Season 5 which was hosted by actor Arjun Bijlani and was seen alongside actress Rashami Desai.

On personal front, Deepika is happily married to director Rohit Raj Goyal since May 2014. She gave birth to her first child Soham in May 2017 and is busy nurturing him since then.
