Small screen actors Vahbiz Dorabjee and Vivian Dsena separated in 2016 and guess what? Even after almost three years now, their divorce has not been finalized. If reports are to be believed, Vahbiz’s demand for Rs 2 crore as alimony is holding up the divorce proceedings. Commenting on the divorce proceedings and if alimony is an impediment in the same, Vahbiz refused to comment on it saying, “I don’t want to comment on it as it is too personal."

Vahbiz also stated to a leading daily that she and Vivian do not want to get into mud-slinging. "It has been very difficult. We are dealing with a lot in our lives. We both have accepted that it (the divorce) is happening and we are moving on in life. We don’t want to sling mud at each other, and which is why such rumors seem weird," she added.
The actress is also upset with media because of the way she has framed to be responsible for the divorce. "There are many stories floating around that assassinate my character or blame only me for it (the divorce). There is no truth to any of the rumours about me. There are reasons other than money as well. It is hurtful that people would even think so. Marriage and divorce are between two people. Only they know the truth. Things can’t go wrong just because of one person," Vahbiz concluded.
Lastly, when questioned about Rs 2 crore alimony, she maintained, “A wife can rightfully ask for 20% of her husband’s wealth but I don’t want to comment on what I have asked for or what he wants. I am surprised at these kinds of reactions as if this is the first celebrity couple divorce. Why are people so astonished about alimony?"
In 2016, after the separation news, when Vahbiz was asked if she and Vivian will ever reconcile, she had said, “No. Vivian is a closed chapter and we have both moved on. There is nothing to be said about our relationship now. Of course, I'll be cordial with him if we bump into each other, but that's about it; the marriage is over. We are both very busy with our work and our careers are our priority now.”
