Saif Ali Khan to make his small screen debut with Dipika Kakar’s show Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum?

Saif Ali Khan is all set to make his small screen debut with the upcoming television series Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, featuring Dipika Kakar and Karan V Grover, a leading daily reports. The 48-year-old actor began shooting his part on Tuesday at a studio in Mumbai as his role involves introducing the lead characters.

Sources told the daily that Saif shot alone for about five hours and was required to give voiceover for the lead actress for a particular sequence. “Saif shot a sequence where the leads are deciding where to go on a date. He shot alone for the part which featured a monologue and involved voice modulation as he is also shown giving voiceover for the female protagonist. The shoot went on for four-five hours,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily.

Produced by Sandiip Sikcand, with Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Dipika will be making a comeback to fiction two years after her show Sasural Simar Ka. The premiere date of the show has not been announced as yet. Dipika, over the past year, was busy with her stint on Bigg Boss 12 while she also won the controversial reality show.

Karan V Grover has featured in the shows Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed and Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant.

As far as Saif Ali Khan is concerned, he is filming Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and is scheduled to begin work on Jawaani Jaaneman with Tabu and Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia F, in June.
