Nakuul Mehta came out in support of Hina Khan who was mocked by the editor of a popular film magazine who shared a picture of Hina walking on the red carpet and captioned it "Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?". Writing an open letter in strong and firm words, Nakuul said for many struggling and upcoming film stars and TV stars, Chandivali is their Cannes. Nakuul on Sunday, on his Instagram account, issued the letter to the editor and lent support to Hina, who is still stunning everyone at Cannes Film Festival 2019.
He added that Chandivali is where baby steps towards success, greater glory and higher artistic ambitions are taken and is home to many technicians, artists from TV and film industry. Read his letter here.
Apart from Nakuul, TV actors like Karanvir Bohra, Arjun Bijlani, Nia Sharma, Mreenal Deshraj and many others came in support of Hina, who made her Cannes debut to launch the poster of her first film titled Lines. Soon after, the editor issued an apology on his Instagram account saying his intention wasn't to belittle any artist.
