After news of music director Anu Malik's return as a judge on singing reality television show Indian Idol's season 11 emerged, singer Sona Mohapatra voiced her discontentment with the decision.

The singer has slammed the channel (Sony TV) and the makers for considering Anu Malik to judge the show. She expressed her disbelief in a series of tweets.

Last year, when the #MeToo movement picked up in India, singer-composer Anu Malik was removed from the jury panel of Indian Idol last year as he was accused of sexual misconduct. He was accused by singers Sona and Shweta Pandit, who called him a pedophile and a sexual predator. However, he had denied the allegations.
