Ishqbaaz fame Surbhi Chandna is all set to make her comeback on TV with the remake version of the medical based show, Sanjivani. The actress has been finalized to play the lead actress and any guesses on who will be the male lead opposite Surbhi? Well, it’s none other Namit Khanna.
Reportedly, Namit who was last seen in Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai opposite Palak Jain has been roped in to play the lead opposite Surbhi Chandna. However, the final announcement on the same is yet to be made.
Talking about the show, Surbhi is apparently playing an innocent, shy Punjabi girl, who comes to Sanjivani hospital to prove that her parents are innocent. On the other hand, Namit’s character of a surgeon will be quite popular around girls. The two will start on a bitter note but will eventually fall in love.
Initially, there was a buzz about makers roping Nakuul Mehta opposite Surbhi; however, seems like the things did not work out between them.
Apart from Surbhi and Namit, other actors who will be seen in the show are Gurdeep Kohli, Mohnish Behl, Rohit Roy, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Sayantani Ghosh. The show is reported to go on air from July this year.
