Actor Dheeraj Dhoopar was all set to make his hosting debut with Kareena Kapoor’s reality show, Dance India Dance 7. In fact, the actor was quite excited for this new journey. He was present on the show launch event and looked quite excited to be a part of the show. However, ahead of the show premier (June 22, 2019) the actor has decided to quit the show.
Now, another TV star Karan Wahi has come in the place of Dheeraj Dhoopar to host the show. Confirming the same, Karan said, “I have previously hosted DID Super Moms Season 2, and I am excited to return to the franchise as a host. I am looking forward to experiencing some of the finest dancing talent of the country in this show.”
Coming back to Dheeraj’s exit news, the actor explained the reason behind his ‘big’ decision. “Hosting is something that I always wanted to do and I enjoy it thoroughly. Dance India Dance is something that I was looking up to but being a new show with the new format it got very draining for me physically and mentally. And I felt that I needed to focus on my other commitments. Hence, I have decided to move on from the show,” Dheeraj Dhoopar said in a statement.
He further added, “We mutually discussed the best way ahead. It also gives me a chance to pursue a few other things that I had planned.”
