Arjun Bijlani starrer ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ goes off air; actor posts a farewell message on his Instagram

Arjun Bijlani and Nia Sharma starrer Ishq Mein Marjawan aired its last episode on June 28. Apparently, the makers were planning to end the show in July; however, the continuous fall of TRP led to this immediate decision. Recently, Arjun who played the role of Deep in the show took to his Instagram page to post a farewell message. Through his post, he thanked his fans, co-stars, writers, crew members and producers of the show.

He shared a video of his character and captioned it, "Today the last episode of #ishqmeinmarjawan will air at 730pm @colorstv .i wanna thank all the people who watched this show and gave so much love to my character Deep. This journey has been absolutely amazing. thank you @yashpatnaikofficial @mamtayashpatnaik for this experience. wana thank each and every actor who I have worked with on this show .a big thank you to all the directors I worked on the show and of course last but not the least the writers who sketched deep so beautifully obviously Mamta being the real mastermind .good bye Deep .i will miss you. #gratitude #fridayfeeling." (sic)

The show produced by Beyond Dreams production house aired its first episode on September 2017 starring Arjun and Nia in the lead roles. Reportedly, the show has been put under the scanner due to the continuous drop in TRP numbers. The makers tried their best to spice up the storyline and get good ratings. However, all efforts were in vain. Finally, the channel has decided to pull off the show.
