Of-late, there have been few reports suggesting that serial CID (Crime Investigation Department) has been roped in to host popular crime-based show, Savdhaan India. If reports are to believed, the contracts of Tisca Chopra and Ashutosh Rana who are currently hosting the show will be over in the first week of July and Dayanand will take the place of one of the hosts. However, there is no truth to this news.
When PeepingMoon.com got in touch with Dayanand Shetty, he said, “No, this is not at all true. I have not signed any show as a host yet.”

Currently, Dayanand is in Lucknow where he is shooting for his upcoming show CIF (Crime Investigative Force) wherein he will play the role of a police officer. Talking about this show, “Yes, I am very excited for this new show and I hope our audience like it too. We are shooting in Lucknow for the past few days and if all things fall in place, the show will on-air its first episode by the end of next month.”
Apart from Dayanand Shetty, the show will also feature actors including Aditya Srivastav, Dinesh Fadnis and Ansha Sayed as police officers. Surprisingly, Shivaji Satam who played the role of ACP Pradhyuman is missing from this new show.
