Small screen actor Mohit Malilk, who is currently playing the lead role of Sikander in Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala opened up about how his life changed post the show. The actor said that he is happy that people have finally accepted him as a hero and is also settled financially in his personal life.
“I am happy that people have finally accepted me as a hero. Earlier, I did a show in which I played a negative lead and after that, Kulfi… happened. I won awards in the negative role and now won an award in a positive role as well. I have worked really hard. Financially too, life has become better. Mentally, I am happy and it’s motivating,” Mohit Malik said in a statement.
Talking about the concept of the show, the actor further added, “It is a milestone and there are many reasons. The show started off as a musical and such concepts never worked. There is no heroine in the show; the heroine dies in the first few months. And we have Aakriti aka Kulfi’s cuteness and determination. The show has also portrayed a father-daughter relationship beautifully. We have crossed around 200 original compositions and we don’t have such a show on TV. We have worked hard to reach where we are right now.”
Child actress Aakriti Sharma plays the role of Kullfi, Sikander’s daughter in the show.
