Television actress Mrunal Thakur bagged a lead role in Vikas Bahl’s Super 30 opposite Hrithik Roshan. Recently, the actress revealed that her sister Lochan Thakur broke into tears upon learning that her sister has finally bagged a film opposite none other than superstar Hrithik Roshan. Mrunal shared the video on her Instagram account where one can see Lochan cry out of happiness inconsolably.
Mrunal wrote, "@missblender is probably going to kill me for sharing this but I just couldn't resist. The day I told her I am doing Super 30, playing Supriya opposite Hrithik Roshan...the joy, happiness and tears were on another level... Mrunal made her debut on the small screen with Yeh Khamoshiyaan on Star Plus. Her portrayal of Gauri Bhosle won hearts and soon she worked in shows like SauBhagyalaxmi but became a household name with her role as Bulbul in Ekta Kapoor's popular television show Kumkum Bhagya. The pretty actress participated in Nach Baliye 7 before making her Bollywood debut last year with Tabrez Noorani's Love Sonia. She will be soon seen playing the lead in Batla House opposite John Abraham.
Super 30, a story of the triumph of spirit, Hrithik reprised the role of a Mathematician, Anand Kumar who trains students for IIT-JEE in Bihar under the initiative Super 30. Mrunal plays the role of Supriya, Anand aka Hrithik's love interest. The film also features Nandish Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastava and Amit Sadh in important roles. The film released on July 12 and has won appreciation from critics and the audience alike.
