Kapil Sharma’s on-screen wife Sumona Chakravarti, who was once addicted to smoking had quit cigarettes two years ago. In her Instagram post, the actress recently spoke about her struggle in quitting smoking wherein she explained the reason behind her writing is to give a ‘dose of reality’ into the world of social media.
In her post, Sumona mentioned that she quit smoking two years ago following a friend’s birthday and hasn’t touched a cigarette since then. According to the actress, it was difficult initially, but now, the situation is such that she can’t even stand in a room where people smoke. Sumona also expressed that people follow actors, like them, love them, criticize them and also admire them. With this post, she hopes to inspire people to give up this habit.

Actress Sumona Chakravarti is best known for her comic role in The Kapil Sharma Show. Currently, she is playing the role of Bhuri in the show.
