On the occasion of Naagpanchami on Monday, fans of Colors' most popular and watched show Naagin franchise, flooded social media platforms with requests for the producer of the show, Ekta Kapoor to make an announcement regarding the cast of the fourth season. Like us, even the audience was hyper excited to find out the face of the next Naagin after Bela. Although Ekta had informed that the fourth season is in the pipeline, there was no update on whether the cast of season 3 will be retained or a new pairing will frontline the show. Now, as per the latest development, the cast will finally be unveiled in September. Well, yes. Ekta, owing to the demand of fans, shared a promo of Naagin 4 and promised to introduce them to the cast in September.
The video shared by Ekta was the same as the one shared back in May when Naagin 3 aired its last episode. In the promo, we can see Sumitra(Rakshanda Khan)'s, Shesha(Adaa Khan)'s and Tamsee(Krishna Mukherjee)'s stone statues emit a bright light. The light, upon falling on the floor, gives birth to a serpent. "Happieeee naagpanchami guys! Sept we will announce d next #naagin for #naagin4! Some surprises on wat I’ll see n where ull see!!!!," Ekta captioned the promo.
Naagin, a fantasy bi-weekly drama aired on Colors and was undoubtedly the most successful series shelled out by Ekta. The show, not just made the audience stay glued to their seats but established a firm position as the top TRP garnering show during its run. The show began in 2015 with Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani as the lead characters. Soon, the popularity of the show led to season 2 starring Mouni and Arjun with Karanvir Bohra. The third and longest-running series of the franchise saw a completely new cast with Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, Pearl V Puri and Rakshanda Khan in central roles. The makers opted for a completely new bunch of actors while the stars of the first two seasons made an appearance during the last few episodes of the third season. It remains interesting to see whether the cast of Naagin 3 is retained or a completely new ensemble will be brought on board.
