The Kapil Sharma Show: Pankaj Tripathi tears up while talking about Manoj Bajpayee, says he 'once stole his slippers from a hotel room'

Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Bajpayee and Kumar Vishwas recently shot for a special episode for The Kapil Sharma Show. The episode will air tonight on Sony TV. The channel shared a video clip this morning where Pankaj is seen getting emotional while recalling an incident from his struggling days.

During the episode, Manoj started talking about an incident which happened during the shoot of Gangs of Wasseypur. Pankaj continued the story and said that once, long time back when he was a kitchen manager at a hotel and a theatre artist, Monoj had come to stay at his hotel and when he came to know this, he got very excited as he was a huge fan of him. Pankaj told everyone in his kitchen department to send only him to Manoj's room if he called something for room service. Pankaj finally got to meet Manoj, he touched his feet and took his blessings and then Manoj checked out of the hotel but forgot his slippers in the room. Pankaj requested the hotel staff to not take those slippers to the lost and found department and to give it to him instead. Pankaj got very emotional while saying this and ended the story by saying "Just like Ekalavya, I wanted to put my feet in his khadau". Pankaj got teary-eyed while saying this and soon Manoj hugged him.
