Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are coming together on the big screen after eight years with Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is the official remake of Hollywood film Forest Gump where Aamir will be seen stepping into the shoes of Tom Hanks. And the big news is, Mona Singh will also join the film, who earlier starred with Aamir and Kareena’s in the film 3 Idiots.
Reportedly, Mona will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film whereas the details of her character are kept under the wraps as of now. Director Advait Chandan believes that the actress fits the role perfectly and will join the cast soon. In fact, Mona is said to have been attending several workshops and script reading sessions with the cast and crew.
Mona Singh too confirmed the news and stated, "I am looking forward to our shoot. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you get. For me, it's been a box of wishes that came true. It will be exciting and challenging to play this role as it spans over a lifetime.”
Mona Singh was last seen in ALTBalaji's MOM – Mars Orbiter Mission. She will be soon seen in the third season of Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain.
