Karan Patel confirms ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ going off-air, reveals the premiere date of ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’

Karan Patel, who is currently essaying the role of Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has confirmed about the show going off-air. The show which has been running on the television for the past six years will bid adieu to its audience by the end of 2019.

Confirming the same to an entertainment portal, Karan said, “Yes, sadly YHM is actually going off-air this time. It is good that the show is ending at its peak rather than running for many more years and retire at its low. We are still shooting for a few days. The show will air its last episode on December 20.” The actor also confirmed that Yeh Hai Chahatein, which will be a spin-off of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will air from December 23, 2019.

Karan and Divyanka Tripathi recently shot for the promo of Yeh Hai Chahatein where the two will be seen introducing the new pair (Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra) to the audience.

Earlier, a spin-off of Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna starrer Ishqbaaz titled Dil Bole Oberoi was also on air but unfortunately, the show did not work well and went off-air soon. On the other hand, serial Kundali Bhagya starring Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar is also a spin-off of Kumkum Bhagya and it is equally popular as its parent show.

Talking about Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the show premiered its first episode on December 3, 2013.
