Shocking! Renowned TV and film actor Kushal Punjabi no more, commits suicide at the age of 37

On Friday, the nation woke up to unfortunate and sad news of renowned television and film actor Kushal Punjabi's untimely death. The actor, who was last seen in the role of Danny in Ishq Mein Marjawan breathed his last at the age of 37 in Mumbai. This news was confirmed by the late actor's friend, Karanvir Bohra on his Instagram on Friday. The latter, while informing the unfortunate demise of Kushal, penned down an emotional note for the deceased soul and said he is still in disbelief. As per sources, Kushal committed suicide on Thursday night and left behind a note. According to Police, his battle with depression over the last one year isn't the only reason for the same.

"Ur demise has shocked the hell out of me.I'm still in denial I know you are in a happier place, but this is unfathomable. The way you lead your life really inspired me in more ways than one....but what was I to know. Your zest for dancing, fitness, off-road biking, fatherhood and above all that, that smiling face of yours, your happy-go-lucky nature your warmth all that was such ingenuity. I'm gonna miss you so much #kushlani You will always be rememberd sad a guy who lived a full life," Karanvir wrote while sharing Kushal's picture.

Kushal, apart from being a renowned TV actor, starred in films like Lakshya, Kaal, Salaam-e-Ishq among others. He was a fitness enthusiast and began his career as a model and choreographer. He started off his TV journey with A Mouthful Of Sky in 1995 on Doordarshan. Over the years, he starred in shows like Kasamh Se, CID, Fear Factor, Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal? amongst several others.

On the personal front, he married Audrey Dolhen in November 2015 and has a son named Kian.
