Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan has turned out to be the most-watched television show in the past four years. The show has also led to Doordarshan becoming the most-watched channel amid the lockdown due to coronavirus. Post the success of Ramayan, the channel has decided to re-run the extended version of the show – Uttar Ramayan.
The interesting part of Uttar Ramayan is that popular Marathi actor Swwapnil Joshi played the role of young Kush in the show. The actor took to his social media page to express his happiness on the re-run of the show. In one of the posts, he wrote, “My first ever role, KUSH!!!! After the grand success of Ramayan, Now DDNational will telecast Luv Kush’s UttarRamayan. Jai Shri Ram,” (sic)
