Amitabh Bachchan, in 2000, presented a revolutionary game show that went on to change the dynamics of television viewing. Titled Kaun Banega Crorepati, the reality show holds a special place in our hearts forever.  Two decades since its inception, Kaun Banega Crorepati has a strong fanbase. Now, after successful 11 seasons, Mr. Bachchan is all set for the twelfth edition. Well, yes. The megastar, on his Twitter account yesterday, shared a promo announcing Kaun Banega Crorepati 12.

In the video, shot at home amid Coronavirus lockdown under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari, Mr. Bachchan announced that the registration for Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 will start from May 9 at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television. "Har cheez ko break lag sakta hai par sapnon ko break nahee lag sakta hai. Aapke sapnon ko udaan dene phir aa rahe hain @Srbachchan lekar #KBC12. Registrations shuru honge 9 May raat 9 baje se sirf Sony TV par," the channel tweeted.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, ever since its inception, is majorly hosted by Mr. Bachchan barring the third season which had Shah Rukh Khan seated on the veteran actor's chair. The premiere date of the twelfth season isn't confirmed yet and is likely to be decided post the current nationwide lockdown is lifted.
