Television actress Shweta Tiwari recently denied patching things up with her ex-husband Abhinav Kohli. Her clarification comes after Abhinav shared social media posts about Shweta, mentioning that they are very much together. Soon after, Shweta clarified saying that it is untrue. Unfortunately, Abhinav has still not stopped posting about her daughter Palak Tiwari. Abhinav's series of posts started around six days ago.

He first shared videos where Shweta is seen with her Mere Dad Ki Dulhan co-star Fahmaan Khan. This post was followed by another post where he mentioned that Shweta never filed a domestic complaint against him. Next, the actor shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation, which he claimed to be with Shweta. Then the actor kept posting about Palak. Abhinav had posted a photo of Palak's 2019 Instagram post where she had opened up about Abhinav's domestic violence against her. It was the first time that Palak had publicly talked about her step father's domestic violence against her after which mother Shweta had lodged a Police complaint. Soon after, the couple had separated. Sharing the post almost 10 months later now, Abhinav wrote, "Lovu why would you delete this post from your Instagram?" Lovu being Palak's nickname. 

The post did not go down well with Shweta who asked Abhinav to leave her daughter alone. Shweta took to the comments section and wrote, "STOP POSTING ABOUT MY DAUGHTER!!!! THIS IS HARASSMENT. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID!!!."

Abhinav shared a screenshot the Kasautii Zindagi Kay actress's comment and wrote, "@shweta.tiwari AND WHY HAVEN’T YOU FILED FOR DIVORCE TILL DATE (sic)."

Shweta and Abhinav made headlines after their marriage hit the rock bottom in 2019. The actress went on to lodge a complaint against him at the police station for making use of abusive language for his step-daughter Palak Tiwari and allegedly accused him of domestic violence. Following this, Shweta ended her second marriage within six years. The couple has a son named Reyansh Kohli born in 2016. Shweta was formerly married to Raja Chaudhary in 1998. The two parted ways in 2007 after she reportedly faced troubles due to Raja's alcoholism and violent conduct. Shweta and Abhinav married in 2013.
