Parth Samthaan’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ co-stars Aamna Sharif, Pooja Banerjee and Shubhaavi Choksey test negative for COVID-19, assure fans they are safe and sound

After Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s lead actor Parth Samthaan tested positive for COVID-19, all the actors, cast and crew of the television serial have undergone Coronavirus tests. Karan Patel had already announced that he tested negative for the deadly and novel Coronavirus. Now, test results of Aamna Sharif, Pooja Banerjee and Shubhaavi Choksey are out and fortunately they have come out negative too.

Reportedly, Shubhaavi who plays the role of Parth’s on-screen mother and Aamna who has been roped in as Komolika are safe and their results have come out negative. Shubhaavi took to social media to assure her fans of her well-being.

Pooja Banerjee who plays Parth’s sister, Nivedita Basu on the show has also tested negative. She wrote on Instagram, “I truly appreciate everyone's concern towards our team's welfare. For all my well-wishers, my Covid-19 test is negative.”

Karan’s publicist had issued a statement yesterday that read, “Karan Patel's swab test has come out negative and all is good. He requests all to stay safe and get their tests done even if mild symptoms. Better to be safe than sorry." Karan had previously shared, “I wasn’t shooting today, but yes, I am getting my swab test done. I’ve been informed that the shoot has been halted for now and that the unit is getting their check-up done.”

Parth had confirmed the news of his being tested positive for COVID-19 on social media. Ekta Kapoor had also shared a post for him wishing him speedy recovery.
