After months of lockdown, Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai featuring Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in the lead was among the first shows to start the shoot in the month of June. Now, as the show continues to win hearts, an entertainment portal's report has it that the shoot was stopped this morning. According to the report, actor Sachin Tyagi, who plays the role of Manish Goenka (Mohsin's father), was tested positive for the novel COVID-19. A source close to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai told the portal that Sachin got himself tested after he developed fever. Soon, a few crew members who showed symptoms, got themselves checked and were diagnosed with the virus. The source further said that more members including actors are awaiting their precautionary test reports. 

"Sachin Tyagi was running fever and hence he got himself tested. His results came day before, after which a few other crew members who also felt symptoms, got themselves tested. Some of them came negative and some positive. As of now, more members of the show including actors have got their tests done and now they are waiting for the results," the source told.

An official confirmation from Sachin and the production house is awaited.
