After months of lockdown, Kapil Sharma and his team returned to the television screen with their popular biweekly The Kapil Sharma Show. Providing a hearty dose of laughter every weekend, the show has been winning hearts. Now, after Bollywood heroes, Kapil and his crew will warmly welcome real-life heroes aka the COVID warriors. The episode will be aired on August 29, 2020, on Sony TV.

The Kapil Sharma Show, this weekend, will welcome renowned doctors- Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala and Dr. Gautam Bhansali, along with their respective teams. In the middle of fun, laughter and banter, the audience will get to learn about the lives of doctors who are fighting an invisible enemy. The frontline warriors will narrate their first-hand account, reactions of their families, precautionary measures that need to be taken for safety and a lot more.

Post the lockdown, the makers of The Kapil Sharma Show decided to not opt for live audience format. Instead, fans of the show can join and interact with the guests via live video calling. 

The first guest on The Kapil Sharma Show after the break was Sonu Sood. After him, celebrities like Amit Sadh along with his Avrodh team, Salim-Sulaiman, Mika Singh, Kunal Kemmu- Rasika Dugal with their Lootcase team graced the show and many more.
