I'm not dead: Kushal Tandon corrects Karanvir Bohra as he confuses him with late Kushal Punjabi

Popular television actor Kushal Punjabi died of suicide on December 27, 2019. As Kushal's family members are coming to terms with the loss, the actor's friend Karanvir Bohra started an initiative to prevent suicides. On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day, Karanvir shared details of the initiative on Twitter and ended up making a big blunder. The actor, in his tweet, mentioned the name of Kushal Tandon instead of Kushal Punjabi.  The former, on noticing, was prompt to correct Karanvir.

"And I'm glad that @reenajabran and I started on day like today #SuicidePreventionDay . I loved #KushalTandon so much. Wud like to mention #chetanhansraj & @MeetBrosHarmeet too,v thought of starting something like this & each of us r doing r bit4 a cause like #SuicideAwareness," Karanvir wrote in his tweet. In response, Kushal said, "main zinda hoon I am not dead"

Upon realising his mistake, Karanvir apologised by tweeting, "Sorry not #KushalTandon but #kushalpunjabi .....typo". Kushal went on to pull his leg by writing, "Don’t drink more... u have a baby comming on ur way"

Kushal is survived by his wife Audrey Dolhen and son Kian. The actor was reportedly suffering from depression and troubled marital life. He left behind a one and a half page suicide note. He mentioned that his property will be divided between his parents, sister and Kian, who was 3 years old at the time of Kushal's death. He further stated that 50% of his property will be divided equally between his parents and sister and the other 50% will go to his son.
