Moments after Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 14 was announced, rumours regarding the contestants have been making headlines. While the makers are yet to confirm details, reports sent across a wave of excitement among fans. One of the rumoured contestants was Nia Sharma. The television actress who recently won Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made In India, was said to be finalised for the show but opted out of it.
Addressing the speculation, Nia, during an interview with a leading daily, dismissed the news of declining Bigg Boss 14 offer and said she was never a part of the show. "We can’t opt out of something that we were not a part of in the first place. The level of confidence and audacity with which people spread rumours, is laudable," Nia said.
Speaking of Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made In India, Nia said, "Khatron was an absolutely amazing experience. Along with all the action, there was a lot of filmi-style entertainment. While the earlier season in which I had participated, was something where we dived into all action, this season was full of adventure and a whole lot of fun. After Naagin when Khatron was offered, I accepted the show without batting an eyelid. I agreed to participate because I wanted to prove something to myself. I just wanted to overcome my biggest fear, which was water. I overcame this fear in the show. I performed purely to win this time. Also, I saw the kind of precautions taken on the set, so I felt relieved. I am glad that I could work after three months."
Bigg Boss 14 will reportedly begin on October 4, 2020, and Salman is said to have shot for the premiere episode too.
