Rajeshwari Sachdev, who recently made her television comeback with the show Shaadi Mubarak, was diagnosed with Coronavirus on Wednesday evening. The actress confirmed the news to a leading daily but preferred to not talk much about it.
"Though Rajeshwari was not coming for the shoot for the past few days as she didn't have scenes to shoot for, she developed mild symptoms like low grade fever along with weakness. After waiting for two days, Rajeshwari got herself tested on Tuesday for COVID-19. The reports unfortunately came positive on Wednesday evening," informed a source.
On the other hand, Sambhavna Seth has been roped in for TV show Gudiya Humari Sabhi Pe Bhari after the lead couple of the show Sarika Bahroliya and Karam Rajpal tested positive for COVID-19.
Anshul Khullar, business head of the production house, shared, “As per the mandate, we took a three-day break after Karam and Sarika tested positive. We are taking all precautionary measures on the set. However, unfortunately, in our case, both our lead actors have tested positive. So, we have made a few changes in the storyline while retaining the quirkiness and comic element. We have roped in Sambhavna Seth, and the longevity of her track will depend on the audience’s feedback.”
Sambhavna shared, “I have mostly been offered negative characters owing to my screen image and stint on ‘Bigg Boss’. This is the first time I will be exploring the comedy genre. I was taken by surprise when the makers approached me for the part, as it’s a complete breakaway from my screen image.”
