Kapil Sharma is no new name in television. The actor-comedian who is providing a hearty dose of laughter every weekend with his popular biweekly The Kapil Sharma Show. Now, treating his little fans with something special, Kapil has signed a new show titled The Honey Bunny Show With Kapil Sharma. The actor who recently welcomed a baby girl with his wife Ginny Chatrath, will be joining the animated characters from the Sony Yay! show Honey Bunny Ka Jholmaal. The show will go on air next month.
Talking about signing the show, Kapil told a leading daily that with the episodic, he got a chance to revisit childhood moments. "I believe animation works across all age groups. This collaboration with the goofy cats, Honey and Bunny, has given me a chance to revisit those memories," Kapil told.
Kapil, for the show, had to shoot against a chroma screen. The actor told the daily that it was different from his other comedy show where he is surrounded by his team members. In the case of The Honey Bunny Show With Kapil Sharma, he had to say one-liners as well as imagine animated characters around him and seem as if there is a conversation going on.
Sony TV's Leela Lele Dutta told the daily, "In Kapil, we found a perfect match who was constantly improvising on the set, turning the tables on the feline jholars. The creative process was very exciting; it’s a unique collaboration."
