The makers of Devoleena Bhattacharjee's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya are all set to re-launch the daily soap with a second season and fans are pretty excited about the return. After teasing fans with new character Gehna, Devoleena Bhattacharjee has now introduced two main characters - Gehna and Anant.
Star Plus released a new promo of the show that showcased Devoleena narrating the story of Gehna - their house help, who selflessly does all the chores despite being at the receiving end of bad behavior. Devoleena then introduces Anant, who feels bad for Gehna. The promo ends with Devoleena aka Gopi Bahu talking about the possibility of Anant marrying Gehna to give her a better life.

Reportedly, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 went on floors by mid-September. The show is said to go on air by October end. Producer Rashmi, during a previous interview, mentioned that a new cast will be roped in for Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2.
